Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 during an Olympic celebration. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci at just seven years old. She first competed at the junior national championships of Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. Then in the year 1970, she was crowned champion. The first time she competed in an international competition, which was an preolympics junior event that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she was crowned all-around Junior Champion. In her very first competition at the senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva of Russia won five gold medals aswell as one silver. She was the first female to ever successfully complete the backwards double salto while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment started in her teens. Along with her sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry as a teenager. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment show Ice Capades. The shows were the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
